家长委员会公告

尊敬的各位家长：

    武汉枫叶国际学校家长委员会于2012年2月11日成立。本着家校精诚合作，共建美好校园的原则，家长委员会在委员会成立大会暨首次代表大会上共讨论了三个议题：1、校车营运；2、英语培训；3、食堂建设。经家长委员会在会上、网上近一个礼拜的充分讨论，形成如下决议：

    1、校车营运：由于枫叶集团取消了所属各校的校车运行，为确保学生能安全按时上学，及时回家，让家长们能安心工作，家长委员会一致同意校车继续营运，同时委托武汉枫叶国际学校作为代理人和汽运公司签署校车租赁、安全运营协议。安全风险、校车费用由家长各自承担。

    2、英语培训：家长委员会赞成学校引进新航道培训机构，利用周末对有需求的学生进行英语培训。

    3、食堂建设：在开学一个月后展开后续工作。

Notice of Parent Committee

Distinguished parents:

    WMLIS Parent Committee was established on February 11^th, 2012. Under the principles of sincere family-school cooperation and building an outstanding campus, the Parent Committee discussed the following three topics in its first meeting: 1. school shuttle operation; 2. English language training; 3. cafeteria development. Through deep discussion at the meeting as well as on the internet for almost a week, the following decisions have been reached:

    1. School shuttle operation: due to the fact that Maple Leaf Head Office has canceled all school shuttle services, it is necessary to establish a process to ensure the safe transportation to and from the school. Parent Committee agrees that school shuttles will keep running, meanwhile the school will act as the agent, signing contract with the bus rental company. Parents will be responsible for student safety and shuttle fees involved.

    2. English language training: Parent Committee is in favor of the school introducing New Channel Training School to Maple Leaf and running English language training on weekends for students having such needs. 

3. Cafeteria development: we will continue to monitor the progress of the cafeteria.
